Leyanda (PTY) Ltd was founded by a group of dri­ven, assertive and ambi­tious young black women with a pas­sion for busi­ness and a yearn­ing for mean­ing­ful eco­nomic par­tic­i­pa­tion. The man­age­ment of the com­pany is a well bal­anced com­bi­na­tion of ethics, pro­fes­sion­al­ism and expe­ri­ence.

Leyanda’s strate­gic intent is to par­tic­i­pate in value added ser­vices in the min­ing sec­tor and the acqui­si­tion of strate­gic BEE stakes. Although Leyanda is a rel­a­tively new com­pany, it cur­rently holds invest­ments in a cou­ple of min­ing and min­eral pro­cess­ing projects and is now look­ing to increase its par­tic­i­pa­tion in the min­ing indus­try.
Leyanda hopes to forge gen­uine win­ning part­ner­ships with expe­ri­enced com­pa­nies in the sec­tor. The ulti­mate focus of the com­pany is grow­ing value of the enter­prise for all stakeholders.

Leyanda has fur­ther iden­ti­fied oppor­tu­ni­ties and has expanded its busi­ness into the min­ing industry’s sup­plies and ser­vices sec­tor.
